The Quail-Tech Alliance Research Program (www.quail-tech.org) in the Department of Natural Resources Management at Texas Tech University announces a MS Research Assistantship beginning Jan. 2016. The successful applicant will investigate the influence of predator management on bobwhite survival and reproductive success in the Rolling Plains of Texas. Field work will involve trapping, radiomarking, and monitoring bobwhite responses to predator management, as well as assessment of predator population density. The candidate will be stationed at a field site for 6 months of the year where housing will be provided.
