Role description The Rivers Derwent and the Upper Kent are key areas for delivery of Natural England’s Conservation Strategy 21 (CS21) outcomes in the Lake District Focus Area. Two roles are available – one role is permanent in which the main focus will be the River Derwent and Tributaries SSSI and other associated designated sites, the second role is temporary until 31st March 2018. The main focus for this role will be the River Kent SSSI and a suite of other designated sites. The role will require you to be a key contributor to delivery of the Focus Area outcomes for the Lake District team. Cumbria is a Pioneer pilot for catchment delivery.
