POSITION PURPOSE: The Naturalist develops and delivers high-quality, environmental education programs through school and community outreach, camps, and guided tours/field trip programs at the Conservancy Nature Center. Works effectively as a member of the education team to support the Conservancy’s mission. 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

•Delivers school and adult education programs including outreach, field trips/tours, camps, homeschool programs, and community festivals. 

•Teaches about Southwest Florida's habitats, wildlife, and conservation to all age groups.

•Provides support with program and curriculum development for education program offerings. 

•Serves as lead counselor for and co-develops Conservancy Camp programs.
