The Fisheries Advisor leads the coordination of technical and scientific support for the implementation of the Conservancy’s fisheries management strategies within the geographic scope of the Micronesia Program. They focus on providing scientific advice on marine ecosystems, fisheries and climate adaptation based fisheries management. They work as part of the Micronesia Program’s Conservation Science and Planning Team to build fisheries science capacity within the Micronesia Program and within partners, including mentoring of in country Conservancy and partner staff.
