Ocean Associates, Inc. (OAI) is seeking a Fishery Biologist 1 to provide support the NOAA National Marine Fisheries Service (NMFS) Biological Field Station, in Hammond, Oregon. OAI supplies personnel support services on contract to government and industry clients for marine fisheries and protected species. This is a short-term position. The incumbent will provide support to NMFS research studies involving the recovery of Passive Integrated Transponder (PIT) tags from salmonids in the Columbia River Basin. These studies are being conducted to evaluate reach survival of juvenile salmonids within the Columbia River system.
