The Ontario SwiftWatch Coordinator will work closely with the Ontario Program Manager, the Maritimes SwiftWatch Coordinator and partners to develop, coordinate and deliver Ontario SwiftWatch. This will include: growing a regional and national program strategy for SwiftWatch; supporting and expanding the program's volunteer network; coordinating spring roost monitoring, presence/absence surveys and SwiftWatch events; prioritizing known sites for monitoring and stewardship efforts, furthering outreach and stewardship at priority sites; and identifying additional research and conservation opportunities. The SwiftWatch Coordinator may also be asked to take on additional projects and stewardship initiatives, depending on Ontario program needs.
