Description: OWL BANDERS NEEDED (2-3) to assist with long-term study of raptor migration near Boise, Idaho conducted by the INTERMOUNTAIN BIRD OBSERVATORY. Wanted: mature, experienced, self-motivated field biologists to conduct nightly banding of forest owls from approximately 25 August – 1 November 2015. Owl Banders ($600-$800/mo.; depending on experience) must have prior banding/bird-handling experience, be able to live and work pleasantly as a member of a large field crew during a short but intense field season, and enjoy camping and living in a remote location.
