The purpose of this position is to provide interpretive/educational and other services for visitors to Pipe Spring National Monument. Interpretive duties include: researching, preparing, and presenting guided tours of an historic fort, talks on cultural and natural history, cultural demonstrations, and roving interpretation. Other duties include: operating a visitor center (collecting entrance fees, answering visitor questions,  opening and closing the facility); opening and closing historic buildings and monument grounds; cleaning historic buildings and museum items on display; assisting in maintaining the historic scene (livestock care/feeding and gardening); collecting visitation statistics; researching and writing for website, Facebook, handouts, or brochures.
