Michigan Technological University is seeking applicants for a 2-year postdoctoral researcher. The position is for two years, subject to review after one year, and can begin as early as 1 July 2015. The fellowship is supported by the U.S. National Science Foundation.

The research will focus on the population biology of Yellowstone wolves and elk, in particular statistical analyses and model building based research. Extensive datasets exist for developing such research, including age-specific vital rates, trophic interactions, behavioral data, genetic data, spatial data, and climatic variables.  The research may also, to the extent deemed valuable, include detailed comparisons and contrasts between the Yellowstone system and the wolf-moose system in Isle Royale National Park.  Th
