The Biodiversity Information Service for Powys and Brecon Beacons National Park (BIS) is the independent local environmental records centre (LERC) which acts as the focus for the collation, management and use of information on the wildlife of Powys and Brecon Beacons National Park (BBNP). BIS is a member of LERC Wales Ltd which includes the 4 independent welsh LERCs that aim to provide seamless biodiversity information across Wales.
