The Program Officer will assist the Program Director (PD) and work closely with the program team in the management of the conservation portfolio. This will include a focus on grant making programs in Myanmar and the Gulf of California, Mexico as well as additional geographies or other issue areas as the need arises. The Program Officer will establish quality working relationships with fellow program staff as well as the potential for shared supervisory responsibilities of the Associate Program Officers; will work with staff to review and enhance the strategy for each geographic area within their focus of responsibility and will provide input into strategies in other areas; will work with grantees to guide grantmaking to fulfill the goals of the strategy; and will seek opportunities for
