Frontier is one of the UK’s leading conservation and development non-profit organisations. Since our establishment in 1989, Frontier has been a forerunner in biodiversity conservation and the development of sustainable livelihoods. We also have an excellent record of species discovery and heightening environmental awareness in local communities.

Frontier has been conducting conservation research projects in multiple areas of Madagascar since 2000. We are currently based in the island of Nosy Be, where we have volunteer led marine and terrestrial conservation projects as well as community development projects in town.
