Overview

We are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic Project Manager to drive forward our marine and terrestrial conservation and community projects in Madagascar.

This is a unique opportunity to independently manage and develop Frontier’s overseas projects in the field with supervision from the London Headquarters. The successful applicant will have overall responsibility for all administrative aspects of the projects including management of budgets, accounts, reporting procedures, meeting and greeting of volunteers and supervision of local staff. You should also be comfortable networking with other organisations and local government departments as and when required. 

The Project Manager will have overall administrative control of the field projects including volunteer communications, financial management, equipment resupply and maintenance, comprehensive reporting procedures, volunteer and staff deployments, management of local relations and networks, fundraising for the project and the supervision of local staff.

We provide capped flight contributions, food and accommodation, a stipend (between £100-£200 a month), work expenses, employers liability insurance and an end of contract bonus.
