This is a 6 month fixed-term position commencing late August /early September 2015.

As a Ranger, Services (Biodiversity) you will be joining our talented delivery team carrying out critical conservation work programmes.

Your role primarily involves undertaking rowi kiwi recovery work including:

  • monitoring breeding using radio telemetry
  • undertaking egg and chick rescues
  • assistance with crèche island chick and sub-adult transfers
  • undertaking work at the rowi pre-release pens (captive chick husbandry facility)
  • undertaking sm
