The Kauri Coast Services team is seeking to employ an enthusiastic and experienced person to become a member of the team at their office in Dargaville.

Duties will include contributing to the delivery of biodiversity protection and monitoring work by;

  • Undertaking work to monitor a variety of terrestrial fauna and flora in our ecosystem programmes. Experience with handling and/or monitoring native species such as kiwi and kokako would be highly desirable. 
  • Undertaking animal and plant pest control using a variety of methods.  A Controlled Substance License is highly desirable.
  • Co-ordinating the preparation, planting, and maintenance of ecological restoration sites.
  • Supervising employees, volunteers, contractors when required to
