Your day to day work will predominantly be a Biodiversity Assets role within the Whirinaki Te Pua a Tane Conservation Park.  This role will require management, oversight and/or participation in threatened animal and plant projects such as short tailed bats, kokako, kiwi , whio , mistletoe and dactylanthus.  You would also be required assist with animal pest control programmes.   It is expected that your work will take you across the district and wider region, carrying out biodiversity work programmes on and off public conservation land, according to work plans.
