We are seeking someone with technical knowledge and skills relating to threatened fauna management to join our dedicated Te Kuiti Biodiversity Services team.  You will be a positive team player with excellent communication and relationship skills and the ability to lead other staff and volunteers.  This is an opportunity for someone with a high level of planning, organisational and field experience to work with a variety of iconic species and ecosystems.

The focus of the role will be supporting and delivering threatened fauna conservation work (including Archey’s frog, kokako, bats and giant weta).  It may also include ecosystem restoration, freshwater, pest control and fire support.

A tertiary qualification and experience in one or more of these areas of work is esse
