Position Description

We are seeking a research assistant to work within the research area “Strategic issues and perspectives”. The key tasks will be to formulate research questions related to regional and environmental economics and regional development, to develop (micro)economic models for investigating such questions, to fill models with data and analyse the results. The research should lead to a dissertation within the given time frame of three years and to academic publications. 

The successful candidate must suggest a specific topic and submit a respective research proposal, which would be a starting point of his/her research. The candidate is expected to join the doctoral program at the economic
