Working on the LHI funded ‘Modelling supply chain-driven biodiversity threats for sustainable consumption policies’ project, you will develop new methods linking geo-spatial biodiversity and habitat datasets with ‘producer to consumer’ model outputs. Your work will provide an improved understanding of the role of international trade as a driver of biodiversity loss, and help to identify key leverage points for delivering fairer and more effective systems of accountability. You will also conduct focussed case studies of specific supply-chains related to major land-based commodities and the associated risks. Particular emphasis will be placed on WWF Priority Landscapes, including the Amazon and Cerrado in South America, and the rainforests of South East Asia. Outputs from this res
