Cooperation Across Borders for Biodiversity (CABB) is a €4.78m project that will be delivered across Northern Ireland, the Republic of Ireland and the west coast of Scotland. Funding of €4.62m from the European Regional Development Fund, administered locally by the Special EU Programmes Body, and match funding from the governments of Northern Ireland (NI), Republic of Ireland (RoI) governments, RSPB Scotland and Mines Restoration Limited has brought six partners together to deliver a five year project ending in December 2021. The RSPB NI as Lead Partner will deliver CABB in partnership with BirdWatch Ireland, RSPB Scotland, Northern Ireland Water, Butterfly Conservation and Moors for the Future.

RSPB NI is seeking 3 Project Officers to prepare Conservation Action Plans (CAPs) for the Pettigo Platea SAC, the Montiaghs Moss SAC, and the Garron Plateau SAC. You will ensure the project enhances the conservation status of active raised bog at the SAC and produce a Conservation Action Plans (CAP) on the Natura 2000 (N2K) site. Tasks include assessing data, mapping habitat features, and undertaking habitat restoration.

Starting at £19,602 to £21,236 per annum
