Salish Kootenai College’s Wildlife and Fisheries Department seeks applicants to teach undergraduate courses on topics in zoology, ecology, and natural resources management. Applicants with a strong aquatics background are especially encouraged to apply. The minimum requirement for this position is a Master’s of Science Degree (PhD preferred) in Fisheries Management, Wildlife Biology, or a closely related field, 3 years of professional work experience, undergraduate teaching experience, knowledge of the Confederated Salish and Kootenai Tribes and the mission and goals of SKC, the ability to work with individuals from diverse backgrounds, excellent communication, and the desire to work cooperatively in a team setting.
