The Satellite Site Operations Manager functions as the primary administrator for the satellite site they are representing of The Marine Mammal Center. This role receives public reports of stranded marine mammals in their rescue range and coordinates the appropriate response. The role is also solely responsible for the supervision, retention, and management of volunteers, with recruitment support from the Center’s headquarters in Sausalito. This role rotates on call and meeting attendance duties across the entire response range, and oversees and implements facilities, equipment and vehicle maintenance.
