The Science Advisor will develop and implement a research plan for conducting an Ocean Health Index (OHI) assessment for the Hawaiian archipelago, and to support other science needs of Conservation International’s Hawai‘i (CI Hawai‘i) program. The Science Advisor’s primary task is to work with various stakeholders and partners to develop a strategic plan for the Hawai‘i OHI, gather and analyze data, calculate the index, and produce several products to communicate the findings (including a brief for decision-makers, a scientific publication and technical report).
