Every Spring our Saving Scotland's Red Squirrel project undertakes a national survey to monitor the presence of red and grey squirrels in set areas.  This helps the project staff build a picture of the changing distribution of both species and this data will give a vital snapshot of how "on the ground" project activities are affecting species numbers.
