Job Description: A dedicated field biologist is needed to assist with a multi-year study of dispersal and survival of young Florida Scrub-Jays in Ocala National Forest. Will trap tame, trap, and color band scrub-jays, conduct extensive surveys to resight and identify color-banded birds, and assist with blood sampling for genetics study. Will work independently, and also help supervise and coordinate volunteers and students that regularly assist with the project. Beginning date in late June 2015.
