Description Internship time period: Mid-March – Mid August. Mandatory start date is March 15, no delayed applicants will be accepted. This internship is a multi-disciplinary program aimed at providing the intern with experience in three aspects of sea turtle conservation: Public education, nest conservation, and sea turtle rehabilitation. Interns will spend 60% of their time working in our educational complex and will be required to give educational presentations, promote adoptions and memberships, and assist in the gift shop, among other tasks. Interns will also spend 30% of their time conducting activities related to nest conservation including: ATV patrols looking for sea turtle nesting activity along a 32-mile stretch and remote 7-mile stretch of open beach, maintenance/monitorin
