The Institute for Wildlife Studies (IWS) is seeking highly motivated applicants for a seasonal (6-month) Predator Biologists as part of the San Clemente Loggerhead Shrike Recovery Program on San Clemente Island, California. Seasonal positions may be promoted to regular full-time status pending performance and funding availability.  Successful applicants will be part of a team managing non-native predators on San Clemente Island.  The primary duties of these positions focus on the lethal control of non-native predators; however non-lethal management of native predators is also conducted, and there may be opportunities for research on one or more of these species.  We encourage the development of independent research projects within the scope of the program.  Duties include, but are n
