The Living Planet Report (LPR) is the world's leading, science-based analysis on the health of our planet and the impact of human activity. Translated into 17 languages and frequently referred to by governments, businesses, scientists and NGOs, the LPR provides insights into the current state of our natural world and the human pressures that affect biodiversity and ecosystem resilience. Furthermore, the LPR explores solutions to remain within the boundaries of one planet. To remain relevant and influential in the future, the challenge is to build upon the LPR’s firm foundation by exploring emerging and cutting edge themes and issues related to footprint and biodiversity and by further development of the indicator set to monitor the state of our planet and the impact of human activity.
