The Senior Director of Special Events is responsible for leading Conservation International’s Special Events department.  As a key leader in CI’s Development Division, she/he will guide the development of the organization’s top fundraising events, working closely with the CEO, Board and Leadership Council members and senior leadership throughout CI to raise significant funding for CI’s conservation work around the world. Reporting to the Senior Vice President for Development, she/he will build on CI’s current events model and lead in the planning and design of special events that contribute to the department’s annual fundraising goals.
