The Solent Recreation Mitigation project is a partnership of fifteen Solent Local authorities, the RSPB, the Chichester Harbour Conservancy, Natural England and the Wildlife Trust. The partnership seeks to minimise the disturbance caused by human activity on the overwintering wildfowl and wader populations on the Solent and Southampton Water Special protection Area.

The SRMP Ranger will be one of a team of rangers across the Solent who will actively seek to engage with users of the coast to increase visitor’s appreciation and understand
