These exciting roles are based at Spurn Point National Nature Reserve, East Yorkshire, one of the most important and iconic coastal features on the Yorkshire coast. The successful candidates must be prepared to work in a remote location where the climate can be challenging (and must be prepared to share a caravan with another Trainee!) You must be outgoing and willing to learn about all aspects of running a National Nature Reserve. Trainees typically work for five days a week as part of a rota - tasks will include assisting with the organising and running of public events, developing interpretation of the site, talking to members of the public about various aspects of Spurn, collecting parking fees and ensuring visitors are well informed and safe on the reserve.
