AmeriCorps Member Duties and Responsibilities: The SCA members will serve as assistant environmental educators at Mine Kill and Max V. Shaul State Parks and the John Burroughs Memorial Historic Site during the 2018 season. Members will develop and implement environmental education programs tailored to regional school groups grades K-12, the Schoharie County Youth Bureau, the Schoharie River Center, SUNY Cobleskill students and other organizations, as well as to the public. Members will assist with all programs and events scheduled at Mine Kill and Max V. Shaul and the New York Power Authority Blenheim-Gilboa Visitor Center including I Love My Park Day, Eagle Fest, Snow Fest, Summer Fest, Summer Nature Tent series, Fireside Jams, the Mine Kill Disc Golf Course tournaments, kayak clinics
