Primary responsibility will be to assist instructors during our summer program for children ages 8 - 13, Starr Ranch Junior Biologists (SRJB). The assistant will help with setup for research-based programs that simulate what it’s like to be a wildlife biologist and might work with small groups of kids on some facet of a wildlife research simulation or week long study. In the summer program, kids participate in the scientific process through observation, exploration, and field research during a series of week-long sessions. SRJB I kids explore native ecosystems and have fun with some of the techniques scientists use to study wildlife.
