Salary for the post is L10,739 per annum. The Environment & Natural Resources Department are looking for an experienced conservationist to take on the role of Terrestrial Conservation Officer to safeguard the unique habitats on the island of St Helena in the South Atlantic. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a place that holds almost a third of the total biodiversity out of all 14 UK overseas territories. Working with local restoration workers & ecologists you will help to establish methods that enable the community to effectively conserve the endemic ‘crown jewels’ of the St Helena’s Terrestrial Habitats.
