POSITION SUMMARY This paid, short-term summer position is an opportunity to gain substantive experience and exposure to all aspects – land stewardship and protection, threat abatement, communications, conservation science, fundraising – of The Nature Conservancy’s work in the Adirondack region of northern New York. We seek a motivated self-starter with a strong interest in environmental conservation and stewardship. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS Lead Project – Nature Preserve Stewardship, Communications and Interpretation: Working closely with stewardship and communications staff, the Associate will work on communications and stewardship projects aimed at improving opportunities for people to connect with nature by elevating the educational value of the Conservancy's nature preserve
