POSITION SUMMARY The Education & Stewardship Assistant is responsible for assisting the Block Island Program: in leading summer nature walks, staffing the visitor center, the recruitment, orientation, and training of volunteers; summer camp programs and other activities; performing office duties; developing interpretive displays and materials; and with biological monitoring and other stewardship activities. *ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS * The Education & Stewardship Assistant is directly supervised by the Associate State Director.
