POSITION SUMMARY The Forest Conservation Coordinator develops, manages and advances partnership activities in South Carolina by providing technical expertise, strategic coordination, and leveraging resources for land conservation and ecosystem restoration. The primary focus of the Coordinator will be the stewardship of forest conservation partnerships in South Carolina focused on longleaf pine and bottomland hardwood habitats. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS The Coordinator provides technical leadership and helps support specific aspects of forest conservation in South Carolina. S/he will help lead partnerships to increase and restore native forest habitats within the state on both private and public lands.
