POSITION SUMMARY The Marine Conservation Director is a new position that will lead development and implementation of The Nature Conservancy’s coastal and marine strategies, with a focus on providing expertise on conservation policy and planning efforts and leading complex partner-based conservation projects within the South Carolina Chapter and the South Atlantic Seascape. S/he serves as a principal marine contact to government agencies, other conservation organizations, foundations, academia, and local communities.
