POSITION SUMMARY The Stream Barrier Technician conducts road-stream crossing inventory and database management for priority sites in the Adirondacks, NY. This is preferably a 12-week full time seasonal position. Exact dates are somewhat flexible depending on the availability of the successful candidate. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS Road-stream crossings (i.e., culverts and bridges) can cause flooding and have negative impacts on aquatic systems and species. The Stream Barrier Technician is responsible for evaluating a suite of priority road-stream crossings in the Adirondack region of New York.
