POSITION SUMMARY The Coastal Restoration Scientist works closely with conservation and other staff to design, implement, monitor and analyze results of coastal habitat restoration programs and projects focused marine fisheries and shellfish research and restoration efforts for The Nature Conservancy in Rhode Island and southern New England. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS As an integral part of the conservation programs of The Nature Conservancy in Rhode Island, the Coastal Restoration Scientist leads and implements coastal conservation and ecology initiatives, restoration projects, and research.
