The Ramblers is looking to recruit a skilled and experienced individual to lead on Area support activities for the Ramblers through leading and managing a small staff team of Area Support Officers (ASOs). Key responsibilities include, setting the direction for Area Support, leading and managing the Area Support Team (AST). The ASM will be the key point of contact for Area Chairs and Secretaries and will be responsible for helping Areas to lead, coordinate and develop activities across their areas. The AST will act as relationship managers, signposting Area queries to the relevant Ramblers staff and helping Areas to realise opportunities, resolve issues at local level, report on their impact
