POSITION SUMMARY The Volunteer Operations Coordinator will help maintain and develop initiatives driven to help TU chapters and councils become stronger, more effective grassroots organizations. In this role, the Coordinator will serve as a principle point of integration between TU's national programs and its grassroots base. The job will require a high degree of coordination and outreach among volunteer leaders and staff at the local, state and national levels. One of the main objectives for this position will be to help chapters and state councils strengthen their own organizational capacity so that they are more successful at engaging their communities and achieving our mission on the local level.
