The Policy Advisor has a unique opportunity to help shape practical, innovative public policy solutions to preventing the further decline of Victoria’s biodiversity on private land. Recognising the time constraints for the position, the Policy Advisor holds chief responsibility for the provision of public policy advice for Trust for Nature. Reporting directly to the Strategic Projects Manager, the Policy Advisor is also required to work closely with the organisation’s Conservation Science Coordinator, one other part-time Policy Advisor (1 day p w), and senior management in a cross-disciplinary environment, to support the organisation’s operations and objectives. The Policy Advisor also provides occasional advice to the organisation’s Board of Trustees.
