Description: • Assist refuge biologist with multiple wildlife projects such as: moist-soils (plant) monitoring & management, bat acoustical surveys, bat research project (telemetry, habitat surveys, and mist-netting), marshbirds call-back surveys, wood duck capture and banding, moist-soil seed estimations, wildlife data entry & database management, GPS and GIS use, and other duties related to wildlife management.

• Periodically assist refuge forester with removal of beaver dams, collection of forest habitat inventory data, and other duties related to forest habitat management.

• Occasional assist refuge staff with boundary posting, vehicle and grounds maintenance, and other diverse duties as assigned.
