Georgia Sea Grant offers year-long internships for recent college graduates in marine education. Interns train and work for 50 weeks at the Marine Education Center and Aquarium on Skidaway Island, near Savannah, Georgia. Marine education internships are offered to recent college graduates with a B.S. or B.A in Biology and coursework in marine science. The program serves as a bridge experience between college and professional positions and is designed for individuals who would like to gain teaching experience in environmental education. Interns live on site in UGA housing. Four interns will be selected for the period of September 2017 to August 2018.
