The Student Assistant 2 will assist in all phases of field work. The SA 2 will assist with and provide a variety of duties associated with establishing and maintaining research plots including laying out field plots, seeding plots, counting densities of plants and clipping and weighing plants, as well as data collection and data entry.  This position will also be expected to perform other duties, as needed, including maintenance, cleaning and organizing of lab, field equipment and files. The ability to work in remote, harsh and rapidly changing environments, work in all types of weather conditions, traverse uneven terrain, and camp in the field up to 4 nights a week is required.
