The University of Florida’s Department of Wildlife Ecology and Conservation invites applications for the full-time (average of 35-40 hours per week), temporary position of Wildlife Research Field Assistant. We will hire 1 employee to assist with a Sherman’s fox squirrel study under the supervision of two graduate students managing the project. Location: The work will occur at the Ordway-Swisher Biological Station, an area of > 9,500 acres of diverse habitats including wetlands, marshes, swamps, prairies, flatwoods, and upland high pine sandhills.
