Master's degree opportunity in wetland ecology, focusing on mutualism between alligators and nesting wading birds, including benefits of coexistence for each group, and especially on understanding and quantification of alligator use of bird resources. Funded research, tuition and stipend for 2 years, field research support, and the ability to build on long term research program. The successful applicant will have a keen interest in wetlands and wildlife ecology, fieldwork experience, a solid academic background in wildlife, ecology, biology or related field, outstanding letters of reference, and good sense of humour, positive attitude, and willingness to spend long seasons in the field.
