WWT has successfully secured funding from the Heritage Lottery Fund (HLF) for the Slimbridge 2020 project. This is a £6 million project which will transform Slimbridge Wetland Centre into the twenty-first century blueprint for conservation education. The Capital Developments Officer role is an exciting and unique opportunity to play a key role in the delivery of this ambitious project. You will be experienced in developing and delivering projects with both capital and visitor engagement elements and preferably have experience of an HLF project. You will have good organisational and communication skills, experience of working with consultants and contractors and probably have a background in design or construction.
