The Great Basin Institute, in cooperation with the National Park Service, is recruiting a Wildlife (Bat) Biologist to develop a bat occupancy monitoring and public outreach program at Great Basin National Park in eastern Nevada. Bat surveys will provide current information on life history, population status and trends, location of key concentrations, and habitat conservation needs. To better understand species density, richness and diversity within the park, surveys may include information on locations of roosts, roost fidelity, frequency of changes in roost occupancy, and associated foraging requirements.
